As we are counting few days left to the D-day, 12th May 2021, the official swearing in Ceremony of President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa and his new Government, a state function that will attract not only many delegates from all the Districts of Uganda but also 15 Presidents of other Countries have confirmed their presence. Many other special guests from other countries including the international development partners have all been confirmed.
What does this mean, it means that Uganda has the opportunity to host visitors, they will witness the peace Uganda is enjoying as well visit a number of sites that make us indeed the Pearl of Africa.
Those planning riots or demonstrations especially the subversive opposition elements, should therefore desist from disrupting the prevailing peace. Majority Ugandans voted in favor of H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa and therefore burning tyres or spreading hate speech on social media or distributing posters remains the biggest joke of a centaury!
We are not yet out of the war against COVID-19, you are adding salt into our wounds! most businesses were brought to their kneels, we are trying to see how to recover from this ditch!
The opposition seems to be fighting so hard so that Uganda goes back to the dogs, the sane Ugandans will not allow.
Let us support one another to build our Country Uganda, 2026 is not very far for the opposition to mobilize against President Museveni or whoever will be standing for the number one office. At the moment, let us accept that no one can or will stop him from swearing in apart from God.
As citizens we can make President Museveni and his Government accountable to us if we are more united in these five years. But if we continue seeing ourselves on lines of clan, tribe, color of political party or religion, we are bound to fail. At the end of the day I will remain NRM member working in isolation pretending to be working for Uganda yet we would have achieved more if we worked together as Ugandans.
Let us keep peace, be sane and I would encourage all the other political party Presidents/heads to attend the swearing in of H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa in may so as to foster the togetherness as Ugandans.
Youth should not be used as elements of violence but rather vehicles towards peace and development of our communities and Uganda at large.
For those invited, See you in Kololo on 12th May 2021, those not invited, the function will stream live on your favorite local TV station.
For God and my Country Uganda.
