Joy as Speaker Oulanyah returns to Parliament

It was all joy at Parliament as Speaker Jacob Oulanyah returned to office on Thursday morning.

 

Oulanyah was among others welcomed by Deputy Speaker Anita Among before prayers were held to thank the Almighty for his safe return.

 

Oulanyah last appeared for Parliament business in June before sparking debate over his whereabouts. More speculations were fueled by National Unity Platform activists who claimed that the Speaker was critically ill and most likely dead.

 

The Government Chief whip Hon. Thomas Tayebwa  welcomed Welcome back Rt. Hon. Jacob Oulanyah at the Speaker's Office and thanked  the Lord who has kept him safe & shamed those who were spreading grim, unfounded news about his life.
