The country is targeting to vaccinate over 22 million people in order to gain hard immunity and return to normality.
Yesterday Uganda received 647,000 doses of Moderna Covid-19 vaccine doses from US, part of the Biden-Harris Administration’s global efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic.
The vaccines, which arrived at 6:30pm on QATAR AIRWAYS, were received by the Minister of Health JaneRuth_Aceng and the USA Ambassador to Uganda at the Entebbe International Airport.
