Mabike insists Rubongoya is an NRM mole in NUP

Former Makindye East MP Michael Mabike has insisted on his allegations that the National Unity Platform (NUP) is infiltrated by NRM agents and the Party’s Secretary General, David Rubongoya is one of them.

Mabike was recently denied the NUP flag by the party’s vetting committee which he alleges was influenced by Rubongoya.

He says that Rubongoya ordered the NUP vetting committee to give the party flag for Makindye East MP aspirant to Nyeko Derrick who is said to be an NRM LCIII chairperson.

This proved to Mabike that indeed Rubongoya is among those working for NRM in NUP. Mabike a few days back is reported to have attacked Rubongoya at NUP’s headquarters only to be saved by Bobi wine.

However those close to Rubongoya say Mike Mabike is a tribalist who is angered by Rubongoya’s position as the party secretary general being a westerner in a supposedly Buganda party.
