President Museveni encourages Ugandans to continue observing COVID-19 SOPs

President Yoweri Museveni has encouraged Ugandans to continue  observing the COVID-19  SOPs for Uganda to completely defeat the Pandemic. 

The President Made the remarks shortly after he and the First Lady Janet Museveni  received their first doses of the COVID19 AstraZeneca vaccine at State House, Nakasero earlier today . 

"First Lady Janet Museveni and I got our Covid-19 vaccine today in Nakasero. I encourage all Ugandans who qualify for this vaccination to go to health facilities and get it. But remember to keep observing the SoPs; wear masks, wash/sanitise hands and observe social distance, etc," President Museveni said.

Earlier this month, Uganda received  over nine hundred thousand dozes to immunize highly valunareble groups and frontline workers.

President Museveni has been commended world over for effectively managing the CORONA VIRUS  pandemic that has left millions of people dead.
