President Museveni welcomes Akon to Rwakitura.

President Yoweri Museveni has today 2nd April welcomed Senegalese-American musician Aliaune Damala Badara Thiam, popularly known as Akon  , and his wife Ms. Rozina Negusei on in Rwakitura. 
The President remarked that they  were  looking forward to a wonderful discussion with the couple. 
Mr. Aliaune Thiam (Akon ) and his wife, come to Uganda in search of business opportunities in a number of sectors like energy, tourism, and infrastructure development.

The President was happy to engage in such a discussion that will uplift our people and Africa at large. 



Akon was airlifted to the President's home in Rwakitura with a UPDF chopper.

Uganda has one of the best investment environments in Africa with tax holidays for investors and guaranteed security.

    What did Kim Kardashian and her husband's visit to Uganda benefit us? Akon's visit will only be history and expect nothing like developmental benefits to our dear Uganda
