Video: Thieves disguised as NWSC workers rob Kyambogo resident
A robbery incident captured on CCTV cameras show 4 people dressed as National Water and Sewerage Corporation workers strangling a resident into his house.
According to the case reported at Kyambogo Police post, this morning at around 8am four people ( three gentle men and a lady) dressed in attire of National water and sewerage cooperation went to Kyambogo Lower Estate Endinburg Avenue to a residence occupied by Chinese. They nocked at the door pretending to be workers of NWSC, upon entering, the assailants held the cook who was the only one at home captive, tied him up as they started robbing.
Another person who is said to be a house maid came minutes shortly and she was also held captive as the robbers equally tied her up and locked her up in the washroom.
It is reported that several items have been stolen including millions of money.
Police has already embarked on investigations to bring the culprits to justice.
