Tooro's King mourns Archbishop Lwanga



The King of Tooro 'Omukama' Oyo Nyimba Kabamba Iguru Rukidi iv  has joined the Catholic community in Uganda and the rest of the world  to mourn Archbishop Cyprian Kizito  Lwanga.


Cyprian Kizito Lwanga who has been the Archbishop of Kampala Dioceses  died Yesterday  at the age of 68. He has been Archbishop of Kampala since 2006.

In a condolence message posted on Twitter, the King of Tooro joined his subjects and the entire country to express his sympathies.

"I am saddened by the passing of Kampala Archbishop Dr. Cyprian Kizito Lwanga who was a great champion of peaceful coexistence and interreligious dialogue. Tooro Kingdom stands with the Catholic Church, all religious faithful, and the country in mourning Archbishop Lwanga. #RIP", the King posted.

King Oyo joins other Political and religious leaders countrywide who have sent in  their condolence messages.
