President Museveni mourns Archbishop Lwanga


President Yoweri Museveni has joined Ugandans and the entire Catholic community to mourn Archbishop Cyprian Lwanga.

Cyprian Kizito Lwanga the Archbishop of Kampala Dioceses  died today at the age of 68.
He has been Archbishop of Kampala since 2006.

President Museveni posted his condolence message on Twitter and it reads "With profound grief, I have learnt of the death of Kampala Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga.  I join the Catholic Church, all religious faithful, and the country in mourning Archbishop Lwanga.  He has died in faith. May God grant his soul eternal repose. "

Other Government officials who are sending in thier condolence messages include 

Dr Jane Ruth Aceng the Minister of Health. Her message reads "I am deeply saddened by the sudden demise of Archbishop Cyprian Kizito Lwanga. I stand with his family and the Church in this difficult time as we mourn Archbishop Lwanga. May his soul rest in eternal peace."

Judith Nabakooba the Minister of  ICT and National Guidance. Her message reads " My deepest sympathies go out to the entire Nation, Catholic Church and the Late Archbishop  Dr. Cyprian kizito Lwanga's family. "
