The Democratic Party's flag bearer Beatrice Kayanja has reportedly been thrown out of the race for the Kampala city Lord Mayoral post by the Electoral Commission for failure to produce substantial requirements via.

The Democratic Party  officially unveiled Beatrice Kayanja as its flag bearer for the Kampala Lord Mayoral slot on 9^th September 2020 by party president Nobert Mao at the DP campaign offices in Mengo.

Beatrice had pledged that her vision for transforming Kampala was based on the political and socio-economic advocacy for the equitable distribution of resources.
