NUP’s Ronald Mayinja campaigns for President Museveni in new song.

Top member of the National Unity Platform (NUP), Musician Ronald Mayinja has realsed a new song acknowledging President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni’s achievements and encouraging Ugandans to vote for him in the upcoming presidential elections.

 

Mayinja is one of the artists who has been strongly supporting Robert Kyagulanyi’s (NUP flab bearer for the 2021 presidential elections) venture into politics and a vocal supporter of Kyagulanyi’s People Power Movement and the National Unity Platform.

 

However in his new song, Mayinja admits that President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is a better candidate and that Ugandans still need his vision and guidance for the country to remain stable.

 

Mayinja adds that President Museveni has done a lot for Ugandans including infrastructural development, health, education among others therefore he deserves to be elected for another term.

 

This has come as a huge blow to the National Unity Platform who were hoping to rely on Mayinja’s popularity and fun base to campaign for their presidential candidate.

 

Mayinja’s lyrics, coming from a person who has been at the helm of NUP leadership have shown Ugandans that there is no better option for Presidency than Museveni, casting holes in Robert Kyagulanyi’s candidature.
