Bobi Wine inflames Kampala women against Lukwago

Kyandondo East Member of Parliament and leader of the National Unity Platform (NUP) Hon. Kyagulanyi Ssentamu Robert aka Bobi Wine has called on Kampala women to vote their fellow in the Kampala mayor race.

Speaking at the burial of the late Kampala mayor Al Hajji Naser Ntege Ssebagala, Kyagulanyi said that it is time for Kampala women to support each other and put themselves and the front of Kampala’s leadership.

“To all women, if Kampala is the sitting room of the house, then I urge you to put a woman in the sitting room for the house to be glamorous,” Kyagulanyi said.

Kyagulanyi was referring to the NUP candidate Nabilah Naggayi Sempala who is contesting for the Kampala Mayor seat against the incumbent FDC’s Erias Lukwago.

Naggayi became NUP’s flag bearer after Latif Ssebagala who was the party’s first choice resigned from the race. Ssebagala had competed with Joseph Mayanja who was denied the flag for being a catholic.

However many voters argue that Naggayi is a lazy and an untrustworthy person who has done nothing for Kampala in her Member of Parliament reign.
