My motherland –Uganda has a unique combination of various attractions that are not available everywhere else in the world and this makes it a worthwhile destination. With a population of around 1063, Uganda is a sanctuary to 50% of the world’s last remaining mountain gorillas, offering a once in a lifetime opportunity to trek and spot a family of wild gorillas resting among the bamboo, trekking of mountains, exploring lakes, source of the Nile, water falls, birding opportunities, it’s vibrant culture and ever very friendly and warm people.

Mountain gorillas - The biggest apes in the world, which weigh about 220 kilograms are earth’s rarest and most majestic creatures. Believed to share 98% of DNA with humans, these gorillas can be found nowhere else but Uganda.
Wild Chimpanzees- Uganda is host to over 5000 chimpanzees and 20 species of monkeys ranging from the golden monkey, De brazza’s monkey, black and white colobus monkey to Patas monkey, Baboon, and blue monkey. With 99% of our DNA, the Chimps and monkeys are man’s closest relatives.
A top bird watching paradise – Uganda is the best bird watching destination in Africa, with over 51% of all bird species spread across Uganda, the most convenient time would be between dawn and 11 am, when the birds are most active. You’ll be serenaded with beautiful singing in areas like Mabamba Bay wetland, Murchison Falls national park, Bwindi Impenetrable national Park, Kibale Forest National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park be among others.
The big five - The pearl of Africa hosts the most dangerous and difficult animals to hunt, Lions, Leopards, Elephants, Buffaloes and Rhinos, found at Queen Elizabeth National Park, Murchison Falls, Kidepo National Park, Lake Mburo and Ziwa Rhino sanctuary.
Climbing lions- The rarest of lions, the climbing lions can only be found at Ishasha Queen Elizabeth National Park. Visit Uganda to experience a mystery that has puzzled everyone.
Mountains of the moon – Commonly known as Rwenzori Mountain, is the highest mountain range in Africa which offers a world class hiking experience. The snow-capped peaks in a Savannah climate offer a unique and fun experience you won’t soon forget.
Nile River, or Baḥr Al-NÄ«l/Nahr Al-NÄ«l in Arabic, is the longest river in the world, and is called the father of African rivers. The source of this winding river found in Jinja, Uganda and is sight for one’s own eyes.
