NRM approves six candidates for EALA position



Six aspirants from the ruling National Resistance Movement have been cleared to contest for the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) position.

A total of 26 persons had expressed interest to replace the late legislator Mathias Kasamba who died in April this year.

They fulfilled all the requirements set for contestants, at the NRM secretariat in Kyadondo, Kampala.

These include; former ministers James Kakooza and Godfrey Kiwanda Ssubi.

Others include; former MPs John Bosco Seguya Lubyayi, Jacqueline Amongin, Dr. Sarah Nkonge Muwonge and Kenneth Nsubuga Ssebayunga, among others.
