Burning State Property is suicidal to Opposition

Well reports of state cars being targeted and burnt with petrol bombs in and around Kampala by young men moving on motorcycles.

These young men are allegedly from National Unity Platform( NUP) or Mr Bobi Wine's die hards.

Now, this is a very dangerous suicidal mission and if I were Mr Wine I would request all NUP supporters to desist from this mission because attacking state property would make them even be declared a terrorist group than just an opposition political party.

Threats make innocent lives vulnerable and susceptible and the state has the right to use which ever powers available to dismantle such radical characters.
Let us not call for deadly confrontations in this country.   If NUP agitators want to engage the ruling party in combat cover and  operations , let them go to the bush not burn cars, peoples businesses or continue on WhatsApp wars or social media battles. As Ugandans we should  believe and trust in meaningful and democratic change not deadly  scuffles.

We are not sadists but we value life of each and every Ugandan citizen.

Mr Wine should come out and distance himself from such acts of radicalism or terrorism so that we do not have more young people being exposed to danger that may cut their lives short.

Such acts even paint a very bad image about our Country and threatens our guests as well as investors who would be coming to invest their money here and create jobs for our youth.

President Youweri Kaguta Museveni Tibuhaburwa is the legally elected President of Uganda 2021-2026 and we should respect that fact and encourage lives of Ugandans to continue amidst whichever challenges being faced at individual level.

For God and My Country
